5/12/2008 - Busy Week
Art Exhibit - will remain in the Small Gym for Monday - Wednesday.
PTA meeting will be Monday night @ 7:30 in the Library.
Track and Field Meets will be on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Senior Citizen Luncheon will be held on Thursday.
The School Musical, Fiddler on the Roof,
will be held on Friday and Saturday nights.
5/8/2008 - Art Show
The Frankford School Art show will be in the small gym from 5/8/08 to 5/14/08. Students may attend during the school day with a teacher or May 12th & 13th from 7-8:30 with a parent. The featured artists are from 1st to 8th grade.
5/6/2008 - Announcements
- I was reading yesterday's paper and saw an ad for a school challenge. I know we had a food collection or two this year, but I'm sure we could all give a little more.
The New Jersey Herald along with United Way and Pass It Along are sponsoring a community wide food drive.
They are asking Sussex County schools to collect non-perishable food items up until May 17.
The school that collects the most food items will win a summer prize package for every student.
The summer prize package will include free tickets to a Sussex Skyhawks game and free ice time at Skylands Ice World among other prizes.
I think this will be a great opportunity for our entire school to get involved in.
I remember that our first and fifth graders were told by the woman from United Way that they collected the most coats, hats, and gloves out of all of the schools.
Just think what Frankford schools could do if all of the students were involved. So what do you think? We will need boxes, so if there are any floating around could I please have them?
We can collect the food until May 17th so that will give us two weeks. If you have any questions, let me know. Let's all get involved, I know we have it in us!!!

5/5/2008 - Cinco de Mayo
- On May 5, 1862, General Ignacio Zaragoza and a ragtag militia of farmers and Zapotec Indians defeated 6,000 well-equipped French forces in the Battle of Puebla in southern Mexico. This important victory is remembered as Cinco de Mayo.
- There will be a meeting tonight to meet and interact with the two final candidates for Superintendent in the All Purpose Room @ 7:00 PM.

4/28/2008 - School reopens
Monday, Student Council Meeting, Track & Field Meet at Lenape, and Board of Education Meeting.
4/20/2008-Spring Vacation
School will reopen Monday, April 28th. Have a wonderful vacation.
4/16/2008-Parent-Teacher Conferences & Book Fair
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will be early dismissal from school (12:45 P.M.). Parent/Teacher conferences will be in the evenings of Wed/Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Friday, the conferences will be in the afternoon from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. During these times the PTA sponsored Book Fair will be in the school library.
