Second grade will be going to the Morristown Theatre

on Wednesday, May 7th from 9:00-1:00

to see Madeleine and the Bad Hat.

Mrs. Curcio's class will be going to visit their pen pals at

the Daybreak Senior Adult Day Care in Hackettstown

on Friday, May 16 from 9:30 to 2:30.

We will  be participating in a presentation about the Seeing eye dog program

on May 5th. 
 

The classes are working on a unit about the Earth in Social Studies. 

Second graders will be completing their last book report with a presentation of a book a bibliography that they have read.

The bibliography book report is due the last week in May.

After we complete this last math chapter on measurement, we will be  working on the next math chapter of  multiplication and  division. 

Some of the words being added to their vocabulary are: product and hundred. Please review these skills with your child. 

Also don't forget to read with your child or to your child every day.

This has a great impact on your child's  academic development.
